LGBT Policy

IAM is committed to promoting diversity and acceptance within our workforce, supplier base and customer base. We recognize that people of all sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions are entitled to be treated with dignity and respect.

We value the diversity of staff that makes up our workforce and do not tolerate any form of discrimination or harassment relating to sexual orientation, gender identity or expression. We have adopted a comprehensive anti-discrimination policy which extends to all aspects of employment, including recruitment, promotions, benefits and other work-related activities. This policy is designed to ensure that everyone in the workplace is treated with dignity and respect.

We also recognize the importance of providing an inclusive environment for our customers and suppliers. We strive to create an environment where customers feel safe, respected and included regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity/expression – whether they are engaging with us directly (in person or via electronic means) or indirectly through our third-party suppliers.

We require both internal personnel and external partners supplying goods or services to us to comply fully with all applicable laws protecting LGBT rights as amended from time to time. Our agreements will make it clear that any supplier found not to be complying can face immediate termination of the relationship for serious breaches or non-compliance after due warning has been issued by us directly or indirectly through our representative bodies at the national level.

Overall we pledge to provide equal opportunities in all aspects of employment for everyone – regardless of their gender identity/expression, race, colour, religion/creed, national origin/ancestry, age, disability status, genetic characteristics & information or any other protected class status under applicable law – so that each person can reach his/her full potential free from discrimination & harassment in the workplace.
